Nissan’s new special version of the Navara – the N-Guard – blends toughness and style within the model line-up, and is on sale now in the UK.
Based on the flagship Tekna spec, the N-Guard is inspired by the luxurious EnGuard concept from the 2016 Hannover Motor Show, with the new model set to make its public debut at the same show this year.
The level of standard equipment on N-Guard models is high, with leather and cloth upholstery, metallic or pearlescent paint (Twilight Grey, Metallic Black and Storm White) all come fitted. Headlamp washers are fitted as stock, too, despite not even being an optional extra elsewhere in the range, and the only added extra for the N-Guard is a rear diff lock.
The interior is black and grey, with double yellow stitching and geometric motifs on the floormats that echo those along the side of the truck and in the bed.
A toughened exterior features a black finish for the front grille, mirror covers, door handles and other exterior furniture – including the side-steps and roof rails which have been added to the spec. Unique 18″ alloys are fitted, as is a tinted sunroof and the interior of the headlamps have been darkened, too.
On offer with the N-Guard is the 2.3 cDi 190 engine, with both a six-speed manual and a seven-speed automatic transmission to choose from.
Order books are open, with pricing for the N-Guard starts at £28,075 for the manual and £29,525 for the auto – both OTR figures before VAT.
