Along with three other vehicles in the brand’s ranks – the Eclipse Cross, ASX and Outlander – the Mitsubishi L200 has been given the Black Edition treatment. Despite its name, the Black Edition L200 is available with a white or grey body colour, as well, of course, as black.
Based on the Barbarian model, the Black Edition pick-up is on offer with both manual and automatic transmissions and has, you guessed, been stylistically bolstered with black trinkets and styling cues. The 17″ alloys, along with the front grille and a section of the front bumper, come in the darkened hue. The fog light surrounds are also darkened, as are the door mirrors, door handles, wheel arch extensions and side steps, whilst at the back the rear bumper is blacked out, too, along with the tailgate handle. Rear accessories include either a GST hardtop with sliding side windows, a Mitusbishi Fullbox or a black aluminium roll-top and sports bars.
Inside, the Black Edition gets leather seating, Barbarian illuminated door entry guards, mood lighting with puddle lamps plus a set of Barbarian branded mats.
The Barbarian Black Edition is limited to 500 units, and is on sale now, priced from £30,195 OTR as a commercial vehicle.
